Orthodontic Care Built Around You
Choosing an orthodontist in Lake Charles, LA is one of the most important decisions you can make for your family's smile. At Lefort Orthodontics, Dr. Troy Lefort combines Columbia University training with over 20 years of hands-on experience to deliver orthodontic care that is both precise and personal. We serve families from Lake Charles, Sulphur, Moss Bluff, Iowa, and communities across southwest Louisiana.
From traditional braces to our proprietary Lefort Aligners, every treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs. Dr. Lefort is the only orthodontist in the area who designs and fabricates his own clear aligners in-house, giving you a level of customization and direct care that national aligner brands simply cannot match.
Dr. Troy M. Lefort, DDS
A native of Cut Off, Louisiana, Dr. Troy Lefort earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the LSU School of Dentistry before completing his orthodontic residency at Columbia University in New York City, followed by two years of post-doctoral training. That combination of Ivy League precision and Louisiana heart shapes every treatment plan he creates.
After more than 20 years serving families in Lake Charles and Sulphur, Dr. Lefort's commitment to innovation led him to build something no other local orthodontist offers: his own in-house aligner lab. The result is Lefort Aligners, a proprietary clear aligner system where your orthodontist personally designs, fabricates, and refines every tray. Orthodontic Services for Every Age
Whether you are a parent exploring early treatment, a teen ready for braces, or an adult looking for a discreet option, our Lake Charles and Sulphur offices have a plan built around your goals.
Lefort Aligners: Made Here, Not Shipped In
The Only In-House Clear Aligner Lab in Southwest Louisiana
Most clear aligner providers send your impressions to an outside lab and wait for trays to arrive in the mail. At Lefort Orthodontics, Dr. Lefort designs and fabricates your aligners himself, right here in our Lake Charles office. That means faster turnaround, real-time adjustments, and a level of precision that mail-order brands and third-party labs cannot replicate.
Lefort Aligners are built for patients who want the convenience of clear aligners with the confidence that comes from direct orthodontist oversight at every step. If you have been comparing clear aligner options in Lake Charles or Sulphur, this is the difference worth knowing about.
- Designed and fabricated on-site by Dr. Lefort
- Faster adjustments without waiting on outside labs
- Direct orthodontist oversight from start to finish
- A discreet option for teens and adults
